Kittitas County Business of the Year Awards
Do you know a successful, community-minded business?
Nominate this outstanding business for the 2008 Kittitas County Business of the Year
Purpose: The purpose of the award is to recognize outstanding businesses throughout Kittitas County that demonstrate stability, innovation, commitment to community, and have had a positive economic impact on the county.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the award, nominees must:
- Have been in business for at least three years and
- Be physically located in Kittitas County and
- Not be affiliated with Board members of the Economic Development Group of Kittitas County
Nomination process: Those interested in submitting a nomination must fill out the official nomination form and return it to the Economic Development Group no later than March 14, 2008. Self-nominations will be accepted.
Selection process: Nominations must be received by March 14, 2008.
- Economic Development Group of Kittitas County staff will screen nominees to make certain that eligibility requirements have been met.
- A selection committee comprised of Economic Development Group Board members will confidentially evaluate nominees to make a selection.
- One business will be selected from each of the following locations:
Cle Elum/South Cle Elum, Roslyn, Ellensburg, Kittitas and
Unincorporated Kittitas County.
- Each of these winners will be notified prior to the Award Ceremony.
- Additionally, an overall Kittitas County Business of the Year Award will be presented to one of the award recipients at the Awards Ceremony.
Award Ceremony: Awards will be presented to all of the winners at the Economic Development Group of Kittitas County’s Awards Ceremony, which will be held this year at the Upper Kittitas County Centennial Center on Wednesday March 28, 2007.
